About 190 KB. The installer checks this page for a newer pack each time you run it. If you want to verify the download, its SHA-256 is c5ae170288541ac93fd35493c32b5dbb7a754052fcf77a790f2aff15caabeed4 and the same value is in the version manifest.

What is in the pack

  • Server Packs – Lets the server send you its custom graphics and maps, so what you see matches the world.
  • Live Map – A small live map in the corner of your screen.
  • Custom Map – Shows the server’s own world map in the client.
  • Compass – An on-screen compass.
  • Tool Belt – A quick tool belt for the tools you reach for most.
  • Skill Tracker – Tracks your skill gains as you work.
  • Tooltips – Extra detail in item tooltips.
  • Container Gauge – Shows how full a container is in its window title.
  • Guide Arrow (optional) – A gold arrow pointing to your active mission waypoint.
  • Map Zoom (optional) – Mouse-wheel zoom on the world map.
  • Window Keeper – Remembers where you put every window, per character.
  • Combat Window – A pop-up combat window with health, target, hits and wounds.
  • Watchman Window – A small, closable window that shows your own Vigil and skill-pace status.
  • Favor Bar – Makes the Favor bar and its tooltip fit the higher favor limit here (twice your Faith).

These are client-side only: they change what your own game shows you. They do not touch the server, and none of them plays the game for you.

How to install

  1. Close Wurm Unlimited and its launcher completely.
  2. Unzip the whole download into a folder. Do not run it from inside the zip.
  3. Double-click Install-TirAnferthMods.bat.
  4. Give it your Wurm folder. A window asks for the WurmLauncher folder. In Steam, right-click Wurm Unlimited, choose Manage, then Browse local files, open the WurmLauncher folder and copy its address from the title bar. A typical one is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Wurm Unlimited\WurmLauncher.
  5. Start Wurm Unlimited as normal.

The installer remembers the folder, backs up anything it replaces (files ending .bak- and the date) and never overwrites settings files you already have.

Compass, Skill Tracker, Tooltips and Tool Belt are by bdew; the first three are released under the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 3 or later, with source at github.com/bdew-wurm. The Container Gauge, Guide Arrow, Map Zoom, Window Keeper, Combat Window and Watchman Window are made for Tir Anferth. Thank you to everyone who built these for the Wurm community.

Removing it

With Wurm closed, double-click Uninstall-TirAnferthMods.bat from the same folder.

If something goes wrong

The installer keeps a log at %APPDATA%\TirAnferthMods\install.log. Tell us on Discord what it says. Questions about the server itself are on the FAQ.
